2011 Heart Walk Scheduled for October 22
The 2011 Pittsburgh Heart Walk has been scheduled for Saturday October 22 at Heinz Field. That's less than six months away, so please donate today!
2010 Heart Walk a Big Success!
The 2010 Pittsburgh Start! Heart Walk was a big success. The weather couldn't have been better, unlike last year. The Survivors Committee held a Chinese Auction in our tent and raised over $400, especially for a chance to win a hockey stick signed by Pittsburgh Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby. Check out the pictures from the Walk.
Two last minute donations on the morning of the Walk put Henry's Heartlings over the $2100 mark. Not as good as last year, unfortunately, but not bad for these poor economic times. Don't forget you can still donate for several weeks after the Heart Walk. And, of course, a big Thank You to everyone who supported us this year.

Pittsburgh CAPA 6-12 Raises Almost $500 for Henry's Heartlings
The Vocal Majors at Pittsburgh Public Schools Creative and Performing Arts School won the National Junior Honor Society's fundraiser for Henry's Heartlings. However, since Stagecraft and Creative Writing were both within $3 of the Vocal students, the CAPA PTSA decided to throw a pizza party for all three majors.
Altogether, the 6-8 graders raised $460.25 for the American Heart Association. The pizza party was held on Feb. 5, 2010, which was also to be National Wear Red Day. Despite a snow storm which was the start of the snowiest month ever in Pittsburgh, the kids had a great time. Thanx CAPA!
